Get help

Sometimes it's good to get help to put into words what's bothering you and to have someone listen. With us, you are always anonymous and in control of the conversation. What you tell us stays with us.

At Tjejjouren West, support is available when you need it. Below you will find lots of information on important topics. In our app Stella you can chat, write a diary and do different exercises to feel a little better.

Our support activities

Tjejjouren West has thousands of chat conversations every year and nearly a hundred active volunteers. You can talk to us about anything, completely anonymously.

Tjejjouren Väst was founded in 2010 as a non-profit organisation and has since its inception offered support and help to anyone who identifies as a girl. We also work to educate adults on issues related to young people's living conditions and well-being.

Our chat is open every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 8pm to 10pm. During the Christmas and summer holidays we have extended opening hours.

You can also email us if you have a question or need help when the chat is not open. We check our inbox daily and you can reach us at: hej@tjejjourenvast.se

You can also apply for a digital big sister. Having a digital big sister means that you will have contact with one of our volunteers once a week for 10 weeks. You will have contact with the same big sister. Your big sister will be there to listen to you and give you support. As with our chat, you will be able to remain anonymous during these calls. Read more about Digital Big Sister here.

Remember, you say exactly how much or how little you want. We are here for you and to listen to you!

Obligation to notify, confidentiality obligation and confidentiality undertaking.

Many people who come to us have thoughts and concerns about reporting to social services or whether we will tell them.

Here we explain in more detail how the duty to report, the duty of confidentiality and the promise of confidentiality work.

Perspectives - a series on female self-esteem.

Tjejjouren Väst collaborates with filmmaker Julia Wolf Ekström in the series Perspektiv. The series contains six parts with personal stories from girls and women.

The series Perspectives premieres on 25 August and you can find the first episode here.

Ask the lawyer

If you have a question or concern that you would like help with, you can submit an anonymous question that will be answered directly by our two lawyers.

Tjejjouren West cooperates with Mirlex law firm and here you have the opportunity to ask questions related to law and justice. Read more about Ask the lawyer here.
